English III

I never made a blog before, so this is my first time and has been hard for me. Reading my old entries, I can notice how I suck at writing in the past (and writing in general). But, over my poor capacity to write and express myself, I must say that it was a good experience. In this blog session I wrote about many things, things that I like, things that I’ve lived in this semester, future plans and my opinions. Even I don’t feel comfortable writing in English, making this blog was funny, it help me with some troubles in this semester (like being alone with my mother).   Another good thing about this blog sessions, is that make us, the 12 people in the room, interact but in a more casual way, just like people, sharing thoughts, memories, moments of our lives and music jejeje. 

One of my favorite series is Supernatural. Dean and Sam Winchester are 2 hunters from Kansas. They hunt monsters, demons, ghosts and gods. The story began when Dean asked Sam to help him to find John Winchester, his father, who had gotten lost 1 week ago, hunting a woman in white [In Latino America is called La Llorona]. As the story continues they meet and find others hunters, demons, and others… like: -John Winchester, his father, a hunter looking for a yellow eyed demon, called Azazel, who 20 years before the beginning of the story, killed Mary Campbell, John’s wife. -Bobby Singer, an old hunter who raised Sam and Dean. -Castiel, and angel from heaven who protects and helps Sam and Dean. -Lucifer, the exiled archangel, he is like the main antagonist (in a very specific way). -Crowley, a demon who helps (sometimes) the Winchester. Also called The King of Hell, after the Winchester defeat Lucifer in season 4. The Series has 12 seasons and a season 13 is confirmed for ...

My favorite picture is this one, a vacation’s photo (well, it’s not my favorite picture, but I must confess that I miss my brother and sister). My mom took this picture 2 summers ago. I don’t remember where, but I remember that day, my brother ran away looking at shops and stray dogs in the way, I followed him and bought him an ice-cream. 30 minutes later, we were lost…He decided to keep looking at place and found my mom later… After 2 hours my sister found us, she was angry because I got the money and she needed to go a public bathroom. Maybe, that wasn’t a big or an important day, but currently they are in Punta Arenas living with my dad I can’t stay with them and that makes me feel a little lonely.      

My favourite piece of technology is my notebook. My parents gave me my first notebook in Nov. 2013 when I finish highschool. I use it to study, watch videos, read comics, book, papers and play games. I use my notebook at least 5 days of the week. I like it, because does my life more easier, I don't need go to the libriary to search a book or a specific information, I don't need go to the bank to do a tranference, whi mi notebook can chat and play with my brother from Punta Arenas. Without my notebook, my life would be more harder,boring and expensive. Probably I wouldn't have time to do all the stuff that I can do now with my notebook.

Why i choose this career… Currently I’m studying Chemistry and Pharmacy, because it’s a well-paid career. I never thought about a career, I never had dream jobs as child. That made it hard to choose when I finished High school. My NEM gave a few options to choose, and the best was Pharmacy.  Honestly, at the beginning, I hated Pharmacy, but in my first semester I began to think: “if I finish this career, I would have a well-paid work and then, with the money, I could study veterinary to help stray dogs”. So I kept that idea and tried to hate less this career. I lost the career in 2015, but I decided try again this year to complete my idea. Why pharmacy and no veterinary? If I want to live without problems and help those dogs, I will need a lot of money, and pharmacy is my best option.

  I started to read comics in 2008, after seen the Spider-man trilogy (Tobey Maguire). This was the first Spiderman that I see, later I began to watch Spiderman: the Animated Serie. Why Spiderman? Because he start at 16 years old, he was a boy with superpowers! Any child would like have superpowers.  In October 2008 I buy my first comic: “Spiderman: The Clone Saga”, that was the last comics that I buy, until September 2015 when I buy Secret Wars: Spider Island #2. In February 2016, I lost my comics when my dad moves to a bigger house in Punta Arenas. My last, and more precious comics, is “The Amazing Spiderman Civil War II”  Since I don’t have a work, I began to download the comics. That make me look for others comics, other characters and spin-off like Spiderman: renew your vow, like Thor and unworthy Thor, Venom, Scarlet Spider, Silk, etc... My name is Cristián Ríos Rojas, i was born on November 24th 1994, in San Bernardo's Hospital. I'm the fist son of 3, my dad is Juan Ríos and my mom is Jéssica Rojas. I'm the oldest brother, my sister Angelica in middle and the smallest one is Iván.  I studied my whole primary in San Miguel, at Santo Cura de Ars school, When I was 12, my parents switched me the school, to Instituto Nacional. In 2011 i had to take 3° medio again, because that year the school was taken for the students. I ended my High School studies at 2013, when I was 19. My universitary studies begun in 2014, when I decided study farmacy instead of veterinary. I lost the career in 2015, the fist semester, because at beginnings of that year my paternal grandfather died. My mother, at October's beginning, send me to Punta Arenas,where currently my dad and little brother lived, to rest and "think what can do with my life, what can study now", so I made a plan, if I can take the PSU, I will be...

The image was made to the comic Vote Loki, in which Loki act like a political and take part in the United Estate election’s processes, why? Because he can and want to get something from that. I think that we don’t vote consciously, we accept easily what some guy proposes us, without looking the things they really want to do, and sometimes we choose the ''lesser evil'', because is the only thing we can do. 

I spect could improve my pronunciation and be able to talk in english without hesitation in front of people. Also i spect could learn more technical terms, to be a better professional in my work field. And finally, aprove this class
